  • We work with major Irish suppliers: Electric Ireland, Bord Gáis Energy, SSE Airtricity, Energia, Pinergy, Flogas, and others
  • We compare both electricity and gas supply across all major suppliers
  • Services cover SMEs, large energy users, multi-site operations, and property portfolios

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
  • You must represent an Irish-registered business or operate from an Irish address
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised account access

3.2 Bill and Data Accuracy

  • Provide complete and accurate electricity bills for analysis
  • Ensure all usage data and supplier information is current
  • Inform us of any changes to your energy requirements
  • Verify all switching recommendations before proceeding

3.3 Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use our services on behalf of a third party without their authorisation
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with our systems or security measures
  • Use our services to violate any Irish or EU laws

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Service Fees

  • Bill analysis and comparison services may incur a fee as displayed during signup
  • We may receive commissions from energy suppliers for successful switches
  • All fees are clearly disclosed before any charges are made
  • Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe

4.2 Refunds and Cancellation

  • Service fees are non-refundable once bill analysis begins
  • You may cancel your account at any time
  • Ongoing monitoring services can be cancelled with 7 days' notice
  • Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis

5. Energy Supplier Relationships

5.1 Independent Brokerage

INIS Energy operates as an independent energy broker. We are not owned by or affiliated with any specific energy supplier, ensuring unbiased recommendations.

5.2 Switching Process

  • We facilitate the switching process but do not directly supply energy
  • Your energy supply contract will be with the new supplier, not INIS Energy
  • We are not responsible for supplier service quality or billing issues
  • Any disputes with suppliers must be resolved directly with them

5.3 Regulatory Compliance

Our services comply with regulations from the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) and other relevant Irish regulatory bodies.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations

6.3 Service Availability

  • We aim for 99% uptime but cannot guarantee continuous availability
  • Planned maintenance will be notified in advance where possible
  • We are not liable for losses due to service interruptions

7. Liability and Indemnity

7.1 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Irish law. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the fees paid to us in the preceding 12 months
  • Issues arising from energy supplier performance or billing

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Irish and EU law, including applicable business and commercial customer protections.
