Commentary #
Wind clawed its way back — climbing from a 7–9% early-morning low into the mid-teens by afternoon and up to 26.7–34.6% by late evening — and the market noticed. Std dev fell to €20.70, the calmest of the fortnight, and periods above €200 dropped to just 7 of 48 (15%), also the lowest. Mean settled at €173.11, well down from Saturday’s €218.64.
Flat and cheap by the standards of this run. After a Saturday with nothing behind it, a bit of returning wind was worth more to the market than the drop in Sunday demand.
