Commentary #

Same trick as last Tuesday, run from a higher base. Wind held 34–37% through the small hours, keeping prices contained in the 150s-160s, then faded steadily through the day — down to 13–18% by the 19:00–21:00 window — and the evening spiked to €270.00 at 20:30 as it did. Mean climbed back to €185.99 from Monday’s €166.48.

The mechanism is becoming familiar: strong overnight wind buys a cheap night, but if it doesn’t hold into the evening ramp, the peak shows up anyway — just later, and often bigger, because demand had priced in cheap wind that didn’t stick around.
