Commentary #
Friday went the other way. Wind slid from around 30% overnight to 5.4% by 09:30, bottoming out right on top of the morning ramp. The result: €346.50 at 08:30, 40 of 48 periods above €200, and a €236.64 mean. The dearest day of the fortnight so far.
The evening was nearly as bad (€309 at 19:00) until the wind came back late, climbing to 57% by 22:00 and dragging the price down to €188 at 22:30, the day’s low. The cheapest hour of the day came at 22:30. That tells you everything.
