Commentary #

Monday with low wind, and it looked like it. Mean of €209.05, every period above €150, nearly half of them above €200.

Wind was stuck under 20% from 07:00 to midday and the price hit €260.84 at 08:00. Midday only got as low as €161, no trough to speak of. The evening was the dearest block of the day: €284-€298.59 from 17:00 to 19:00, even as wind was recovering to 37%. Monday demand plus a slow wind recovery wasn’t enough to hold it down.

Wind finally hit 60%+ from 21:30 onwards and the price dropped below €200 at 22:00. If that holds overnight, Tuesday should look a lot more like last Thursday.
